Second Street Austin, TX Agenda City Council Addendum Agenda Thursday, October 19, 2017 10:00 AM Austin City Hall Addendum The City Council may go into a closed session as permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act, (Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code) regarding any item on this agenda. All of the following items may be acted upon by one motion. No separate discussion or action on any of the items is necessary unless desired by a Council Member. Consent Agenda Law 58. Approve a payment of a judgment in an amount not to exceed $226,000 in Reagan National Advertising, Inc. v. City of Austin, D-1-GN-14-003594 in the 201st Judicial District of Travis County. 59. Authorize execution of an amendment to a legal services contract with Elana Einhorn for legal representation in connection with National Media Corporation et al. v. City of Austin, Cause No. D-1-GN-10-003997, in an amount not to exceed $60,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $156,600. Public Health 60. Approve negotiation and execution of an agreement with Foundation Communities, Inc. for the provision of health insurance-related services for a twelve-month term through September 30, 2018 in an amount not to exceed $125,000, with two 12-month renewal options in an amount not to exceed $125,000 per renewal option, for a total agreement amount not to exceed $375,000. Neighborhood Housing and Community Development 61. Approve a resolution to be submitted to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs by Austin DMA Housing III, LLC, or an affiliated entity, supporting an allocation of low income housing tax credits for new construction of senior housing to be known as The Nightingale and located at 5900 Charles Merle Drive in the Goodnight Ranch Planned Unit Development, and acknowledging that the City of Austin has more than twice the state average of units per capita supported by low income housing tax credits or private activity bonds at the time of application.
