The City Council may go into a closed session as permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act, (Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code) regarding any item on this agenda. All of the following items may be acted upon by one motion. No separate discussion or action on any of the items is necessary unless desired by a Council Member. Briefings 1. Update on Project Connect. Council Discussion 2. Authorize execution of an interlocal agreement with Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority for creation of a joint local government corporation to implement Project Connect. 3. Approve a resolution relating to guidance on dedicating tax revenue and the terms of an interlocal agreement to be negotiated for the implementation of Project Connect for the November 2020 tax rate election.
