THE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE WILL MEET ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2020 AT 10:00 AM, VIA VIDEOCONFERENCE 301 W. SECOND STREET AUSTIN, TX Natasha Harper-Madison, Chair Delia Garza, Vice Chair Kathie Tovo, Member Ann Kitchen, Member Revised Instructions for public comment will be posted on the committee webpage. Public comment will be allowed via telephone; no in-person input will be allowed. A quorum of the City Council may be present at this meeting. Action will only be taken by the members of the committee. The committee may go into a closed session under the Open Meetings Act, Section 551.071, of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from legal counsel on any item on this agenda. CALL TO ORDER Approval of Minutes 1. Approve the minutes of the Health and Human Services Committee meeting on October 14, 2020. Discussion and Possible Action 2. Discussion and possible action regarding a recommendation by the Animal Advisory Commission that the City of Austin’s Animal Services Office participate in the Human Animal Support Services (HASS) pilot program as a Tier 1 city.
