CALL TO ORDER: at 5:24 p.m.
PELAGE OF ALLEGIANCE: by Mayor Preciado.
ROLL CALL: Councilman Hernandez, Councilman Gravelle, Councilman Verdugo, Mayor Preciado.
ABSENT: Mayor Pro Tem Ramirez.

CITY CLERK:
Government Code Section 54952.3: The members of the City Council/Successor Agency are entitled to receive a total of $300.00 per month
because of being elected to the City Council. They receive no other compensation for sitting as a member of Successor Agency.

Antony Lopez, City Manager, announced Chief Stivers informed him that the fire on the hills of SR 269 had been contained.

Mayor Preciado opened Public Hearing for Joint Hearing of the City of Avenal Successor Agency RDA Trust Obligations
Fund/Public Finance Authority/Housing Authority Fiscal Year Budgets 2021/22. 5:28 p.m.
Mr. Lopez reported that asfter discussing the budget for a one hour in a half with the City Council in the study session, it
seems the City Council will be ready to adopt a the budget with some cleanup of the language and it will stand as presented.
Staff will be ready to formally present fees to review and approving the budget and fees the next day.

budget. Special City Council Meeting June 30, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. City Hall
Mayor Preciado motioned to continuing Public Hearing for Joint Hearing of the City of Avenal Successor Agency
RDA Trust Obligations Fund/Public Finance Authority/Housing Authority Fiscal Budget 2021/22, seconded by
Councilman Hernandez, and carried.
Roll Call Vote:
