NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD OCTOBER 24, 2019 7:00 PM CITY HALL 13503 ALEXANDER ROAD BALCH SPRINGS, TEXAS, 75181 AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board of the City of Balch Springs, Texas will hold a Regular Meeting at the above-named date, time and location for the purpose, consideration and action on all the items listed below. 1. Identification of a quorum. 2. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Citizen Comments (3 minutes maximum per citizen comments). 4. Consideration and action regarding approval of previous meeting minutes: a. August 22, 2019 b. September 26, 2019 5. Presentation by Freese and Nichols regarding the Irwin Park and Recreation Center Master Plan Study. 6. Update by staff on a potential EDC-B bond to help re-vitalize and add additional amenities to the existing City parks. 7. Consideration and action regarding adjusting dates of future Parks Board meetings for the holidays in November and December. 8. Staff Reports/Updates: a. Luedeke Park b. Irwin Park - Master Plan Update c. Guy Berry Park d. Woodland Park – Trail update e. Oakridge Park f. Boyd Rodgers 9. Requests for information and/or new business to be placed on future agendas.
