Village of Balsam Lake Municipal Building 404 Main Street Balsam Lake Regular Meeting of the Balsam Lake Board of Trustees, Monday May 4, 2020 at 6:00 pm Meeting will be held at the Fire Hall, 931 Mallard Lane “Notice is hereby given to the public and the news media pursuant to Wisconsin Statute that a Village Board meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Balsam Lake, Polk County, Wisconsin, will be held as indicated below for the purpose of transacting such business as indicated on the following agenda. Discussion and possible action could be taken on any agenda item.” Agenda: 1. Call to order. 2. Village Trustees Oath of Office- Jamey Flaherty, Aimee Newbauer and Corby Stark. 3. Roll Call. 4. Conducting Village Board Meeting-there will be no public input to the board after public comments, except during a properly called public hearing. 5. Public Comments-3 minutes per person. 6. To consider and possibly act to approve the Regular Board Meeting May 4, 2020 Agenda. 7. To consider and possibly act to approve March 2, 2020 Regular Board meeting minutes and March 9, 2020 Special Board meeting minutes. No board meeting held in April. 8. To consider and possibly act to approve Fence Permit #20-05A at 302 First Ave W. 9. To consider and possibly act to approve Vendor Permit #20-02 Adventures Rollin Food Truck. 10. To consider and possibly act to approve Ordinance Amendment 2020-01 All-Terrain Vehicles. 11. To consider and possibly act to approve public works summer hours-Dave Patterson. 12. To consider and possibly act to approve purchasing E-One Pumps-Dave Patterson. 13. To consider and possibly act to approve obtaining an appraisal on vacant village owned land. 14. To consider and possibly act to approve April 2020 Treasurers Report. 15. To consider and possibly act to approve operator license #1182-1185. 16. Discussion on moving forward with the application process to hire a Deputy Clerk Treasurer. 17. To consider and possibly act to appoint two board members and village president to the Board of Review on Thursday May 21 8:30 – 10:30. 18. To consider and possibly act to appoint Zoning Board of Appeals members: Guy Williams, Robert Peterson and Judy Swenson. Will need to fill 1-2 more vacant seats. 19. To consider and possibly act to appoint Planning Commission members: Kathy Poirier, Denny Aubin, Kellie Flaherty and Jamey Flaherty. Will need to fill 3 more vacant seats. 20. To consider and possibly act to appoint Village representatives: Lake Rehab Dist, Gary Schneider; Library Board, Faye Brittan; Health Officer, Dave Patterson; Weed Comm, Kathy Poirier and Zoning Admin, Ben Campbell. 21. Discussion on holding a zoning board meeting, a planning commission meeting and committee meetings in May in regards to social distancing. 22.
