NOTICE OF SPECIAL VILLAGE BOARD MEETING
The Village of Balsam Lake Board of Trustees will be holding a Special Board Meeting on
Monday May 8th, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the Village Hall, 404 Main Street Balsam Lake.
“Notice is hereby given to the public and the news media pursuant to Wisconsin Statute that a Village Board Meeting of the
Village Board of the Village of Balsam Lake, Polk County, Wisconsin, will be held as indicated below for the purpose of
transacting such business as indicated on the following agenda. Discussion and possible action could be taken on the
following agenda items.”
Agenda:
1. Called to order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Public Comments. (3 minutes per person).
4. Discussion and possible action regarding water treatment plant project.
5. To consider and possibly act to approve BLCC request to hold 4th of July youth activities
south of municipal building on Village property.
6. To consider and possibly act to approve Temporary Class B License #1115- BLCC Wine Walk.
7. To consider and possibly act to approve Thirsty Otter Tavern, 101 County Road I-Renewal
Class B Beer and Class B Liquor License #1108, Amplified Device permit #3067, Renewal
Operator License #1431-1435 & 1449, Original Operator License #1436-1443.
8. To consider and possibly act to approve Firework Display Permit #23-01, Robert Bialucha.
9. To consider and possibly act to approve Firework Display Permit #23-02, Jennifer Delgado.
10. To consider and possible act to approve Street Closure Permit #23-04, 1st Ave East from Main
Street to Mill Street, KJ’s New North, Corn on the Curb Festival 2023
11. To consider and possibly act to approve Renewal Operator License #1452-1454, Lucy 7
General Store.
12. To consider and possibly act to approve Renewal Operator License #1455-1457, Original
Operator License #1458-1459, Doc’s Pub & Eatery.
13. To consider and possibly act to approve replacement of two lift station pumps.
14. Adjournment.
