VILLAGE OF BALSAM LAKE Village President Jim Duncan Trustees: Jamie Flaherty, Kellie Flaherty, Len Manning, Gary Johnson, Jena Paquette, Corby Stark NOTICE OF SPECIAL VILLAGE BOARD MEETING & JOINT LIBRARY BOARD MEETING The Village of Balsam Lake Board of Trustees will be holding a Special Board Meeting on Monday December 16th 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at the Village Hall, 404 Main Street Balsam Lake. “Notice is hereby given to the public and the news media pursuant to Wisconsin Statute that a Village Board Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Balsam Lake, Polk County, Wisconsin, will be held as indicated below for the purpose of transacting such business as indicated on the following agenda. Discussion and possible action could be taken on the following agenda items.” Agenda: 1. Called to order. 2. Roll Call. 3. Public Comments. 4. To consider and possibly act to approve the December 16th, 2024 Special Board Meeting Agenda. 5. Discussion and possible action regarding Direct Deposit Payroll for Village Employees. 6. To consider and possibly act to go into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (c): Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Discussion concerning Librarians. 7. To consider and possible act to go into open session. 8. Discussion and possible action on any closed session items. 9. Discussion regarding leave policy for Part time Employees. 10. Discussion and possible action regarding Public Works Uniform Policy & allotments. 11. Discussion and possible action regarding Fire Protection services for 2025. 12. To consider and possibly act to go into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (c): Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
