BANGOR BOROUGH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD AT 197 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, BANGOR, PA

CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE TO FLAG

PUBLIC COMMENT AND CORRESPONDENCE:
1. Cristie DeRea of Fairview Avenue was present to discuss a letter she received from
the Bangor Authority in regards to a sewer EDU. After a discussion, Council Member
Gorman stated that it will be discussed at the next Bangor Borough Authority Board
Meeting.
2. Keith Kutz of 235 N. Northampton Street was present to express his concerns with the
property owners of the adjoining property. Manager Dysard stated that the property
owner of the adjoining half double is in compliance with the Borough Ordinance, but
the Borough will continue working with both parties to address the concerns.
NEW BUSINESS
1. A MOTION to accept the Police Directives 1.2.9 & 3.6. made by Rhodes, seconded by
Bilotta. All were in favor. MOTION carried.
2. Laura Werkheiser was present at the meeting to present the SALDO revisions that
were made by the Planning Commission at their previous meetings.
3. Manager Dysard gave a brief description on the WalkWorks Program and informed
Council that signage and educational materials will be available in the near future.

4. Council had a discussion on the Fee Waiver Policy in the Borough. This item will be
discussed further at an upcoming meeting. A list of fee waivers from the prior year
will be provide for Council for review.
MAYORS REPORT
1. Mayor Capozzolo mentioned that the tree removal at the site for the Quarry Hoist
went well and everyone did a great job.

COUNCIL REPORT
1. Councilmember LaBar thanked everyone for the donation of time to help with the
completion of the Quarry Hoist.
2. Councilmember Bilotta mentioned a concern about snow removal on the sidewalk in
front of the post office during the major storm.
ADJOURNMENT
A MOTION to adjourn the meeting into executive session, with no action to follow, was
made by Bilotta, seconded by Rhodes. All were in favor. MOTION carried.
The Bangor Borough Council Meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
