Sec. 307 (C) (11) Mayor for the purpose of conferring on matters pertaining to economic development, including the transfer of property, financing, or the creation of a proposal to entice a business to Jim Curd locate within their jurisdiction. – Diana Adams Vice Mayor Return to Open Session David Wood President • Discuss and take action authorizing president, with the concurrence of the chair and David King legal counsel, to negotiate early lease termination(s) and/or relocation of current Legal Counsel tenants of the Westside Manufacturing Center, not to exceed $225,000 in cash and rent concessions. – David Wood • Discuss and take action on a recommendation to the City Council to allocate $850,000 from the Economic Development Fund for relocation of up to 85 Westwin Elements, Inc. employees associated with startup operations within the former Westside Manufacturing Center. Eligibility will commence immediately upon Westwin’s closing on the purchase of the property and continue for a period of 24 months. - David Wood • Discuss and take action on a recommendation to the City Council to allocate $40,800 in development assistance from the Economic Development Fund to Bob Loftis Furniture of Bartlesville to be utilized for building improvements at 4125 Nowata Road, payable upon Certificate of Occupancy within 24 months. - Chris Batchelder • Discuss and take action on a recommendation to the City Council to allocate $53,366 in development assistance from the Economic Development Fund to WrightSteak Steakhouse to be utilized for building improvements at the Price Tower located at 510 Dewey Ave., payable upon Certificate of Occupancy within 24 months. – Chris Batchelder 1 • Discuss and take action on a recommendation to the City Council to allocate $34,729 in development assistance to LOVE66 Café Restaurant of Bartlesville to be utilized for building improvements at the Price Tower located at 510 Dewey Ave, Bartlesville, OK, payable upon Certificate of Occupancy within 24 months. – Chris Batchelder Staff Reports Adjourn The Agenda was received and filed in the Office of the City Clerk, Bartlesville, Oklahoma on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 3:57 p.m. and posted same day at 5:00 p.m. Jason Muninger /s/ Elaine Banes Jason Muninger, CFO/City Clerk by Deputy City Clerk Open Meetings Act Compliance (25 O.S. Sec. 301 et seq.): All discussion items are subject to possible action by the Bartlesville Development Authority (BDA). Official action can only be taken on items which appear on the agenda. The BDA may adopt, approve, ratify, deny, defer, recommend, amend, strike, or continue any agenda item. When more information is needed to act on an item, the BDA may refer the matter to the City Manager, Staff or City Attorney, or back to a committing or other recommending body. Under certain circumstances, items are deferred to a specific later date or stricken from the agenda entirely. Agenda items requiring a public hearing as required by law will be so noted. The BDA may at their discretion change the order of the business agenda items. City of Bartlesville encourages participation from all its citizens. If participation at any public meeting is not possible due to a disability, notification to the City Clerk at least one working day prior to the scheduled meeting is encouraged to make the necessary accommodations. The City may waive this rule if signing is not the necessary accommodation. 2
