Main Street Advisory Board Meeting

MINUTES OF BASTROP MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD November 14, 2018 The Bastrop Main Street Advisory Board met in a Regular Meeting on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 5: 30 p. m. at Bastrop City Hall, located at 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas. Members present were Jennifer Long, Bonnie Coffey, Terry Moore, Candice McClandon and Shawn Pletsch. Steve Bridges was absent. Also attending were Main Street Program Director Sarah O' Brien, Convention Center Director Kathy Danielson and Drusilla Roger, City Council Liason 1. CALL TO ORDER: At 5: 30 p. m. and with quorum in attendance, Chair Terry Moore called the meeting to order. 2. CITIZEN COMMENTS: None 3. Reports: 3A: Building Bastrop: Postcards being sent out along with media releases 3B: Applied to Visit Bastrop for funding to be directed to Lost Pines Christmas 3C: Everything looking good for Small Business Saturday, Wassail Fest, Snow Day and Lighted Christmas Parade 3D: There was an article in the paper regarding the program. Currently have 4 applications. An orientation will be scheduled after the first of the year. 4. Presentations 4A: Wine Swirl: discussion regarding the date scheduled. Will need approximately 10 wineries to make it a successful event 5: ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION: 5A: Board discussed appointments and felt that the board should remain at 9 members 6.
