Parks and Public Tree Advisory Board Meeting

MINUTES OF CITY OF BASTROP PARKS AND PUBLIC TREE ADVISORY BOARD January 6, 2022 The Bastrop Parks and Public Tree Advisory Board met in a Regular Meeting on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 6: 00 p. m. at City Hall. Members present were Margaret Robinson, Betty Rucker, Kerry Fossler and Steven Fobert. Absent were Board Members Barbara Wolanski, Jamie Creacy, Sarah Rooney, Bastrop Recreation Terry Moore and Liaison Councilman Dock Jackson. Staff present were Public Works Director Curtis Hancock and City arborist Thomas Martinez. I. CALL TO ORDER At 6: 01 p. m. Vice Chair Margaret Robinson called the meeting to order. 2. STAFF, BOARD, AND COMMITTEE MONTHLY OPERATIONAL REPORTS 2A. Parks and Recreation Report Report was given by staff Thomas Martinez. 2B. Bastrop State Park Report No report was given. 2C. - Recreation Report Report submitted by Terry Moore was read. 2D. Bird City Coalition Report Report was given by Board Member Kerry Fossler. 2E. Council Liaison Report No report was given. 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS There were no citizen comments. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES 4A. Consider action to approve Parks and Public Tree Advisory Board minutes from the December 2, 2021 regular meeting. Motion was made by Board Member Betty Rucker and seconded by Board Member Steven Fobert. Vote was unanimous. S. ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION SA. - Update and discuss Parks Master Plan. Public Works Director Curtis Hancock gave an update. SB. Update and discuss Pickle Ball Public Warks Director Curtis Hancock gave an update. Sc.
