YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL MINUTES June 5, 2018 MINUTES OF REGULAR YOUTH ADVISORYCOUNCIL MEETING June 5, 2018 The Bastrop Youth Advisory Council met in a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 6: 00 p. m. at the Bastrop City Hall Council Chambers, located at 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas. Members present were Council Members Morriss, Anguiano, Alger, Dodge, Mora, Edwards, Branecky, Gomez, Ingram, Ramirez, and Tram. Sponsor, Dr. Kristi Lee, of Bastrop ISD was present as was Cheryl Renfro on behalf of the City of Bastrop. CALL TO ORDER At 6: 00 p. m. Dr. Lee called the meeting to order with a quorum being present. 1. PRESENTATIONS There were no presentations scheduled for this meeting. 2. ELECTION OF OFFICERS Dr. Lee reviewed voting process and the following officers were elected: President Amanda Branecky Vice President Jessica Tran Secretary Caitlyn Ingram Historian Amber Dodge Parlimentarian CJ Ramirez The motion was made by Councilmember Tran and seconded by Councilmember Branecky. A vote followed which passed unanimously. Discussion followed about conduct of the Council and what circumstances constitute a quorum, including use of email and texts to all members and use of apps such as GroupMe." 3. OTHER BUSINESS Dr. Lee suggested moving the scheduled July 3, 2018, meeting to July 9, 2018, and the January 1, 2019, meeting to January 7, 2019.
