Approval of Minutes: Mr. Goodman made a motion to approve the minutes from the January 21,
2015, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Approved

Dangerous Buildings Show Cause Hearings:

Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property Owner, James Dixon, present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector,
noted the property was damaged by fire and will need plans and permits to make
all the corrections. The cost estimate of repair is $56,412 with the SEV of
$36,964. Mr. Dixon stated he has plans from the architect and a building permit
has been submitted. Mr. Dixon plans to make the necessary repairs. Mr.
Goodman made a motion to affirm the property as a dangerous building and
continue it through the process, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Affirmed.

Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, noted the
property was damaged by fire. The cost estimate of repair is $45,953 with an
SEV of $22,666. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to affirm the property as a
dangerous building due to no owner present, seconded by Mr. Goodman.
Affirmed.

Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property Owner, Walter Hammond, present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector,
noted the property had extensive work done inside without permits and/or
inspections. Mr. Hammond stated they have acquired the property from Mr.
McCann and plan to bring the building up to code with a completion date of June
30, 2015. The building will be used for storage and office space for the adjoining
metal recycling operation. There are plans in the works through Wharry
Engineering. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to affirm the property as a dangerous
building and continue it through the process, seconded by Mr. Goodman.

Property Owner, Adenika Bacon, present. Jason Francisco, Senior Code Officer, stated the
property has exterior violations and recommended a thirty day extension. Ms. Bacon stated
she needs more time to make the necessary repairs. Mr. Francisco noted a permit for the roof
repair would be needed.

Property Owner, not present. Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer, stated the violations were
noted during a rental inspection. Mr. Martin stated the interior violations have not been
completed. Mr. Goodman made a motion to affirm the order as written due to no owner
present, seconded by Mr. Harrison. Affirmed.

Property Owner, James McGough, present. Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer, stated the
violations were noted during a routine property survey. Mr. McGough stated he started
scrapping the house but then the snow started. Mr. McGough stated the house is stucco and
needs time to cure before it can be painted. Mr. Harrison made a motion to grant an extension
to June 16, 2015, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Extension granted.

Code Compliance Officer: Elijah Martin
Property Owner, Robert Brown, property manager for Edward Stanton, present. Elijah Martin,
Senior Code Officer, stated the violations were noted during a rental inspection. Mr. Brown
stated the tenant does not want the repairs done until she has moved out. Mr. Brown stated
the tenant is picky and will not let them in to make the repairs. Mr. Goodman requested a plan
of action. Mr. Goodman made a motion to grant an extension to March 17, 2015, seconded by
Mr. Harrison. Extension granted.
