DIVISION STREET COMMISSION CHAMBERS 3RD FLOOR – ROOM 301 BATTLE CREEK MI 49014 Call to Order: 1:00pm Roll Call for Board Members: Anthony Goodman, Stan Chubinski, Robert Whitfield, and Andy Harrison Staff Members Present: Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector; Elijah Martin, Senior Code Compliance Officer; Marcie Gillette, Neighborhood Services Manager; Lisa Silkworth, Secretary Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: Remove 365 N Kendall Approval of Minutes: Mr. Goodman made a motion to approve the minutes from the February 18, 2015 meeting, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Approved Old Business: none Dangerous Buildings Show Cause Hearings: a. 25 Orchard Pl Issue#EN14-25766 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the building is in need of repairs with a cost estimate $150,425 and an SEV $44,223. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to affirm the findings of the Dangerous Building Board due to no owner present, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Affirmed. New Business: 1. 365 N Kendall Issue#EN14-26850 Code Compliance Officer: Jeanette Cook REMOVED Housing Board of Appeals March 18, 2015 Page 2 of 2 2. 92 W Grand Circle Issue#EN15-00258 Code Compliance Officer: Elijah Martin Property owner, not present. Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer, stated the property has exterior violations that have not been corrected. Mr. Martin recommended affirming the order as written. Mr. Goodman made a motion to affirm the order as written due to no owner present, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Affirmed. Public Comments: Owner of 310 Cliff St was present. He noted a completion date for his repairs.
