Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer, noted this property first came in front of the board in April for more time. Mr. Martin stated the stucco has been removed. Mr. McGough stated he has hired a contractor to put siding on the house. Mr. McGough stated he needs a little more time. Mr. Whitfield made a motion to grant an extension to July 14, 2015, seconded by Mr. Goodman. Extension granted. Jeanette Cook, Senior Code Officer, noted the violations were exterior – scrapping and painting. Ms. Cook recommended a sixty day extension. Ms. Sparks requested more time and stated sixty days would be good. Mr. Goodman made a motion to grant an extension to August 18, 2015, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Extension granted. Jeanette Cook, Senior Code Officer, stated the interior violations were noted during a routine rental inspection to renew the rental permit. Mr. Jenkins is requesting more time because he is working on the other houses that appeared before the board last month. Ms. Cook recommended a thirty day extension. Mr. Goodman made a motion to grant an extension to July 14, 2015, seconded by Mr. Chubinski. Extension granted. Jason Francisco, Senior Code Officer, stated there are some exterior violations. Mr. Francisco stated the one unit is rent certified. Ms. Herzog stated she has not had good luck finding someone to do the work. Ms. Herzog has tried to get some estimates but has had no luck with getting estimates back. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to grant an extension to August 18, 2015, seconded by Mr. Goodman. Extension granted. Mr. Whitfield asked about the other properties too. Mr. Goodman made a motion to grant an extension to August 18, 2015, seconded by Mr. Chubinski. Mr. Holcomb stated he has some vacation time to use to make the necessary repairs. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to grant an extension to August 18, 2015, seconded by Mr. Harrison. Extension granted. Mr. Campbell Smith stated he has financing in place and plans to side the house. Mr. Campbell Smith stated he needs more time. Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer, stated the property was recently transferred to a new owner and then violations were re-issued to Mr. Madison. Mr. Martin stated the violations were discovered last year during a property survey but then ownership changed hands. Mr. Madison stated he bought the house and was unaware of the existing conditions. Mr. Madison stated he needs more time and asked for an extension to November. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to grant an extension to August 18, 2015, seconded by Mr. Goodman. Extension granted. Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer, stated the property was a six unit apartment building. Mr. Wilson requested a sixty day extension and noted some units are ready for inspection. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to grant an extension to August 18, 2015, seconded by Mr. Goodman. Extension granted.
