Call to Order: 1:00pm
Roll Call for Board Members: Robert Whitfield, Stan Chubinski, Andy Harrison
Staff Members Present: Jason Francisco, Senior Code Officer; Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer;
Lisa Silkworth, Secretary; Marcie Gillette, Community Services Director
Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: Remove 76 E Goguac and 314 Wentworth – in compliance
Approval of Minutes: Mr. Whitfield made a motion to approve the minutes from the July 15, 2015
meeting, seconded by Mr. Harrison. Affirmed.
Old Business:
a. 127 Academy

Code Compliance Officer: Jason Francisco
Property owner, Karen Herzog, present. Jason Francisco, Senior Code Officer stated the
property is in front of the Board for a second appeal. Mr. Francisco noted work had not
progressed on the property. Ms. Herzog stated she is still getting estimates to have the house
painted. Ms. Herzog noted she had called several places. Mr. Whitfield made a motion to
affirm the order as written, seconded by Mr. Chubinski. Affirmed
Table the next two items on the agenda until the Code Officer can be present. Mr. Whitfield
made a motion to table it for 20 minutes.

Code Compliance Officer: Eric Morris
Property owner, Michael Campbell, present. Eric Morris, Senior Code Officer, stated the
property is in front of the Board for a second appeal. Mr. Morris stated some work had been
done. Mr. Campbell stated he needs more time to make repairs. Mr. Campbell stated he has
been clearing out clutter. Mr. Morris made a recommendation to grant an additional thirty

days. Mr. Harrison made a motion to grant an extension to October 20, 2015, seconded by
Mr. Chubinski. Extension granted.

Code Compliance Officer: Eric Morris
Property owner, Charles Bailey, present. Eric Morris, Senior Code Officer, stated the exterior
violations were noted during March, 2015. Mr. Morris stated some work had been done but a
lot of work remains to be done. Mrs. Bailey stated they are trying to make the repairs but she
had been injured. Mrs. Bailey requested more time. Mrs. Bailey also wondered what they
would need to do if they sell the property. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to grant an extension
to September 15, 2015, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Extension Granted

Property owner, not present. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to affirm the order as written
due to no owner present, seconded by Mr. Harrison. Affirmed

Property owner, Kyle Madison, present. Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer, noted the
exterior violations were noted during a routine property survey. Mr. Martin did note the
property owner had been making some progress on the painting. Mr. Madison stated
he needed more time to finish. Mr. Madison stated 60 days would be fine. Mr. Harrison
made a motion to grant an extension to October 20, 2015, seconded by Mr. Whitfield.

Code Compliance Officer: Jason Francisco
Property owner, Peggy Kellie, present. Jason Francisco, Senior Code Officer, stated
the exterior violations were noted during a property survey. Ms. Kellie noted the roof
does need to be repaired and she intends to replace the entire roof. Ms. Kellie stated
she would replace it next year. Mr. Whitfield explained the property owner needed to
come to the meeting with a clear plan. Mr. Whitfield made a motion to affirm the order
as written, seconded by Mr. Harrison. Affirmed.
