Call to Order: 1:00pm
Roll Call for Board Members: Stan Chubinski, Eric Blair, Robert Whitfield, John Sims Jr
Staff Members Present: Marcie Gillette, Community Service Director; Todd Nowicki, Senior Code
Officer; Eric Morris, Senior Code Office; Yolanda Johnson, Senior Code Officer; Lisa Silkworth,
Secretary
Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: none
Approval of Minutes: Mr. Chubinski made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from the March
21, 2018 meeting, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Approved

Code Officer: Todd Nowicki
Property owner, Willie Croskey, present. Todd
Nowicki, Senior Code Officer, stated the violations
were exterior in nature and work has not been started.
Mr. Croskey stated he had been taking care of a sick
relative and just needed more time. Mr. Croskey
asked for an extension to August. Mr. Sims made a
motion to grant an extension to June 19, 2018,
seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Extension granted.

Code Officer: Eric Morris
Property owner, Mary Lou Ramon, present. Eric
Morris, Senior Code Officer, stated the violations were

exterior. Mr. Morris noted the roof issues had been
corrected. Mr. Morris stated the exterior painting had
not been corrected. Ms. Ramon stated she plans on
painting the house but needs more time to let the
wood dry out. Ms. Ramon is seeking a ninety day
extension. Mr. Sims made a motion to grant an
extension to July 17, 2018, seconded by Mr.
Chubinski. Extension granted.

Code Officer: Yolanda Johnson
Property owner, Monica Frazier, present. Yolanda
Johnson, Senior Code Officer, stated the violations
were noted during a rental complaint. Ms. Johnson
has spoken with the owners and noted there has
been progress made. Ms. Frazier, formerly Ms.
Vincent, stated she had to wait for the eviction
process and they are now in the building and making
repairs. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to grant an
extension to June 19, 2018, seconded by Mr. Sims.
Extension Granted.

Public Comments: Ms. Frazier asked about the paint program. Mr. Frazier asked how the Board
members are appointed.
Board and Staff Members Comments: Mr. Chubinski noted he may miss the next meeting. Mr.
Whitfield asked if the board was at full membership.
