5. Approval of Minutes: Mr. Hamilton approved the minutes from the June 9, 2021 meeting.

Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner not present.
Don Wilkinson, Building Official, stated that the
property was condemned and uninhabitable. In its
current condition, Mr. Wilkinson recommended
affirming it as a Dangerous Building. Mr. Hamilton
affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and
granted thirty days to bring it into compliance.

Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner not present.
Don Wilkinson, Building Official, stated that the
property was has partially collapsed from a vehicle
running into it. In its current condition, Mr. Wilkinson
recommended affirming it as a Dangerous Building.
Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous
Building and granted thirty days to bring it into
compliance. Affirmed

Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner, Jon Homrich, was present. Mr.
Homrich attended the meeting from Battle Creek, MI.
Don Wilkinson, Building Official, stated that the
property damaged by fire. No permits have been
applied for. In its current condition, Mr. Wilkinson
recommended affirming it as a Dangerous Building.
Mr. Homrich stated that he recently purchased the
property with the intent to fix and sell. He stated that
with all of his other projects, he is not able to make
the needed repairs. He has listed the property for
sale with ReMax. Mr. Wilkinson stated that he
understands and that the City always works with
property owners, but it is still the owners responsibility
to maintain the property. He asked Mr. Homrich to
call him after the meeting. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the
property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty
days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed

Property owner, Joe Rocha, present. Mr. Rocha was
attending the meeting from Battle Creek, MI.
Don Wilkinson, Building Official, stated that the
property was damaged by fire. In its current
condition, Mr. Wilkinson recommended affirming it as
a Dangerous Building. Mr. Rocha stated that he
wants to demolish the building. He has reached out
to several contractors, and they are all very busy He
would like to demo the building himself. Mr. Wilkinson
asked Mr. Rocha to call him after the meeting. Mr.
Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous
Building and granted thirty days to bring it into
compliance. Affirmed

Property owner, Fern Perkins, present. Ms. Perkins
was attending the meeting from Ceresco, MI.
Don Wilkinson, Building Official, stated that the
property was heavily damaged by fire. In its current
condition, Mr. Wilkinson recommended affirming it as
a Dangerous Building. Ms. Perkins stated that she
wants to demolish the building. She received a quote
from Bolle excavating, but was waiting on a call back.
Mr. Hamilton instructed Ms. Perkins to call Mr.
Wilkinson after the meeting. Mr. Hamilton affirmed
the property as a Dangerous Building and granted
thirty days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed

property was condemned and uninhabitable. In its
current condition, Mr. Wilkinson recommended
affirming it as a Dangerous Building. Mr. Hamilton
affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and
granted thirty days to bring it into compliance.

Property owner, Michelle McBride, present. Ms.
McBride attended the meeting from Battle Creek, MI.
Don Wilkinson, Building Official, stated that the
property was damaged by fire. In its current
condition, Mr. Wilkinson recommended affirming it as
a Dangerous Building. Ms. McBride state that Ace
Excavating will be demolishing the property. Utility
disconnects have been received. Ms. McBride asked
about fire escrow monies being returned to assist with
the cost of demolition. Ms. Hubbard explained the fire
escrow process to her. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the
property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty
days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed
