Goguac Lake Board Meeting Minutes Department of Public Works Room 204 March 10, 2022 Board Members Present: John Avery; Mark Behnke; Gerardyne Drozdowski; Ron Smith Others Present: Kurt Tribbett, City Engineering; Patty Hoch-Melluish, City Environmental; Paul Hausler, Progressive AE; Andrew Falkenberg, Regional Assessing Manager; Kathy-Sue Vette (phone) Call to Order: Avery called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Approval of Minutes: Smith moved to approve the December 9, 2021 minutes. Behnke seconded. All yes, motion carried. 2023-2027 Budget: Tribbett presented Goguac Lake Board 2023-2027 budget. Avery approved. Behnke seconded. All yes, motion carried. Aquatic Plant Control: Hausler reported on chemical treatment for 2022. Ice is nearly off the lake. Sampling will take place at ice off. Progressive AE will give notice when first chemical treatment will occur – likely the 3rd week in May. Assessment Process: The current GLB assessment is due to run out at end of 2022. Falkenberg talked about the process and how parcels are assessed. Assessor will check on any new split/combination parcels; confirm property ownership; update annual fees. A Special Assessment hearing will be scheduled with City Commission to start the process. A date will be set.
