New Business: Discussion: Chris asked that we begin process for Officer elections,
but as there was no quorum this will have to be postponed until the October 13
meeting. Chris was provided with addresses for Code to look into 20 and 24 E
Kingman – individuals do not remove their trash cans after pick up and they carry out
garbage to cans throughout the week until the next pickup. Trailer parked in the road
with no license plate was reported to Chris for him to submit to Police. Trailer is 1
house east of 71 E Kingman. Question was noted that there are at least 3 vehicles in
the neighborhood that do not have plates, park on street and police go by and nothing
is done – these vehicles have been this way for over 6 months. Question raised
regarding how vehicles throughout the neighborhood are parking the wrong way on
the street, police go by and see, but again, ignore the matter. If we have ordinances on
the books for this, why aren’t they being addressed? If there is to be no enforcement,
get the ordinances off the books. Chris posed a question to the NPC, what goal(s)
would we like to accomplish? Affordable housing in our area was put forward. More
discussion at next meeting.
