WESTLAKE/PRAIRIEVIEW NEIGHBORHOOD PLANNING COUNCIL #10 MEETING MINUTES 10 N Division St. Room 104 Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 7:00 pm 1. Call to Order and Welcome Helen Guzzo, Community Development Manager, started the meeting at 7 pm. 2. Attendance: Naveen Paul, Maria Ozello, Mary Nelson, Steve Nelson, Rick Ozello, Nick Ozello, Ayden Booth, Aiden Booth, City Commissioner Jessica Lacosse 3. City Staff: Helen Guzzo, Community Development Manager (City of BC-CD), Vanessa Hernandez, Community Development Specialist (City of BC-CD) 4. Guests: Jessica Lacosse, shared speed bump concerns in the area. 5. Chairperson Notes/Correspondence/Announcements: N/A 6. Additions/deletions to the Agenda: N/A 7. Approval of prior month NPC 10 Meeting Minutes: N/A 8. Police Report: N/A 9. Public Service Announcements from Commissioners: N/A 10. City Staff Report: Helen Guzzo: Shared about the Community Development Minor Home Repair Program, Lead Safe Program, Code Compliance Paint Program, and the Community Development 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan surveys were distributed. Vanessa Hernandez: Next meeting we will discuss Open Meeting Act requirements, Roberts Rules of Order, and the election of officers. Notify groups she will be the point of contact for NPC 10 and will work closely with the new secretary to help with the meeting minutes. 11. Committee Reports: a. New Business: Next Steps to Reactivate  Minimum 9 members  Membership resolution for appointment  Establish meeting date, time, location  Assist in facilitating the first 3 meetings • 1st Meeting -Review NPC Charter, Boundary, By-laws, and Dissolution/Reinstatement Policy, Establish Meeting Schedule • 2nd Meeting -Open Meetings Act Requirements, Roberts Rules of Order, Election of Officers • 3rd Meeting – Support the new officers in the facilitation of the meeting • A decision was made by those in attendance to change the NPC 10 monthly meeting, moving forward to 6 PM instead of 7 PM. 14: Special Presentation: 15.
