Discussion 30 Topic
This is a special discussion 30 that will address the new city manager. I need all our members
and guest to stay the one extra hour to give input. We have cut back our meeting to get great
input from our NPC 4. Below is the info on this.

Community conversations set for city manager search
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — During a series of community conversations that begin Monday night,
the city and supporting
partners will collect the public’s knowledge and input on choosing the next city manager.
City partners Beacon Community and Project 20/20 will coordinate and facilitate the
meetings, all of which are open to
everyone in the community who is interested in participating in the conversation. The
partners have worked with the
City Manager Search Committee and associated city staff to organize the meetings and will
compile and submit a final
report to the committee by June 2.
The meeting schedule is as follows (all meetings last one hour). Please note that on May 21,
two meetings will be held.
