This informal meeting was led by Chris Lussier starting with the introduction of guests and
members. Reviewed the workings of the pre pandemic schedule. No meetings Dec, Jul,
Aug and the protocol for membership. Election of officers scheduled for Oct with JP
facilitating.
Discussed the importance of npc to members. Community involvement actions noted
included the periodic neighborhood cleanups, the Benjamin Park revival and the creation of
the dog park.
Discussed the handling of complaints about neighbors and code compliance. A wish for
finding a more equitable approach was voiced, with more of a neighbor-to-neighbor
resolution.
Chris went over the Aug police report and a housing and economic handout comparing
npc4 with the city in general.
A resident of Maple Terrace wondered if the npc was a place to resolve a vacant house in
disrepair.
Comments afterward, First Presbyterian Church resuming the Health
Fair Oct 8.
