R-8 Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with SIMS
MUNICIPAL RECYCLING, Jersey City, NJ for the receipt of the City’s Recycling
Comingled which includes glass, metal cans and plastics, for the period one year
commencing January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 pursuant to the Non-
fair and Open Process.
R-9 Amending Resolution 23-01-18-061 that authorized an agreement with CLARKE,
CATON HINTZ, PC, 100 Barrack Street, Trenton, NJ 08608 for professional
planning services as Town Planning Consultant for the period commencing
January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023 for an amount not to exceed
$700,000 payable from various developers’ (not to exceed $550,000) and
redevelopers’ (not to exceed $150,000) escrow accounts for Town Planning
Consultant services in connection with developers and redevelopers and also to
include professional planning services as Town Planning Consultant on behalf of
the City for an additional amount not to exceed $45,000 and amending Agreement

administrative duties associated with his function as Board attorney and in the
event the Zoning Board is involved in litigation, said amount not to exceed

for the receipt of the City’s Recycling Commodity, Mixed Paper Only, for a one (1)
year period commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2024 with two
(2) possible one (1) year options to renew at the City’s sole discretion pursuant to
the Non-fair and Open process whereby Reliable will pay to the City a rebate based
on the monthly trade publication (Pulp and Paper Index or PPI) the higher listed
NY/Northeast price under Mixed Paper (54) plus an additional $15.00 each month.
The City shall not be charged for Mixed Paper should the PPI index falls below zero.
