ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 27, 2023
A regular in-person meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment was held on Monday,
February 27, 2023, in the Dorothy E. Harrington Municipal Council Chambers, 630 Avenue C,
Bayonne, New Jersey.
Mr. Campisano called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. and led all in the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Flag. Mr. Campisano declared a quorum and advised that the Board has complied
with the Open Public Meetings Act/Sunshine Law.
Secretary Lombari called the roll. Present at the meeting were Vice-Chairman DiLullo,
Secretary Lombari, Commissioners DeRos, Lubach and Frain. Chairman Adams, Commissioner
Pineiro, Elghari, Sisk-Galvin, McCourt and Contey were not present.
Also present were Richard Campisano, Esq., Board Counsel, Robert J. Russo, PP, City
Engineer, Suzanne Mack, PP, City Planner, and Alicia Losonczy, Zoning Board of Adjustment
Administrator.
Adoption of Minutes:
Mr. Campisano called for the adoption of the minutes from the January 23, 2023 regular
meeting.
Commissioner Pineiro made the motion to adopt the minutes and Commissioner Lombari
seconded the motion. A unanimous vote of eligible members followed.

Communications:
• Letter dated February 24, 2023 from Paul Weeks, Esq. for Z-22-015 – KAMAL GIRGIS
– Site: 46 West 21st Street; Block 216, Lot 32 requesting the application be carried until
the March 20, 2023 regular meeting without any further notice on the part of the
applicant (Z-22-015)
o Commissioner DeRos made the motion to approve the extension until January 31,
2024. Commissioner DiLullo seconded the motion. A unanimous vote of eligible
Commissioners followed.
On motion by Commissioner DeRos, seconded by Commissioner Lombari, the Board
unanimously voted to close the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 6:07 pm.

07075, took a transcript of the meeting.
