BELGRADE CITY COUNCIL Planning Retreat Special Work Session MINUTES Bridger Brewing— Three Forks, MT. Strategic Plan- Tryon Assistant City Manager Tryon went over the current strategic plan and the objectives that are: in progress, on- going or have been deferred and why. 12: 00 p. m.— 12: 30 p.m. Big Ideas- Cardwell Master Plan Utilities, Growth in Belgrade. 12: 30 p. m. — 1: 30 p. m. Lunch & Tour of the Brewery, Council and Assigned staff remain after lunch) Members present for afternoon session: All council members were present. City staff Present were: City Manager Cardwell, Assistant City Manager Tryon, Executive Assistant Jambor, Director of Human Resources Wilbert, and Police Chief Lensing. Meeting resumed for Afternoon Session Public Comment, 2035 Vision update and Discussion— Neil Cardwell 2025 Legislative Priorities— SK Rossi, Neil Cardwell, and Russell Nelson 3: 30 p. m.— 4: 00p. m. Public Comment— Wrap up ( Thoughts on Next Years Retreat) No members of the public were present for this work session. Notice of Possible Quorum Belgrade City Council Planning Retreat Location: Bridger Brewing Three Forks, Montana Wednesday, March 20, 2024 9 AM to 4:00PM The purpose of this retreat meeting is for the City Council to have an opportunity to raise, discuss, and prioritize, among themselves and City staff, policy issues related to the business of the City. There will be no policy decisions made, or actions taken by the Council during this workshop meeting. There will be an opportunity for public comment at or around 3:30pm. This meeting may be attended in-person only. Members of the public who wish to attend are asked to register with the City Clerk due to space. That meeting may be attended in-person or the meeting can be viewed in real time at www.belgrademt.gov. There is an opportunity for public input at every regular business meeting of the Council prior to the consideration of any policy decisions.
