Members of the Youth Advisory Board will gather for a brief social time at MOD Pizza, 5103 Bellaire Boulevard, Suite 130, Bellaire, Texas 77401, from 6:15 p.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m. II. REGULAR MEETING - 7:00 P.M. A. Call to Order and Announcement of a Quorum - Eleni Gagliardi, Chair. B. Approval of Minutes: Consideration of and possible action regarding the approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Youth Advisory Board held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 - Submitted by Bella Kalra, Secretary. MTG_YAB 11-19-24 Minutes - Draft C. Board Business: 1. Discussion and update regarding the Thanksgiving Food Drive. 2. Discussion and possible action regarding holiday events:  Toy drive (Caroline Corales);  Support for local families; and  Other suggestions. 3. Discussion and possible action on meeting more often. 4. Discussion and possible action regarding the Annual Report presentation to be made to the City Council during the State of the City Address on February 3, 2025. D. New Business: Any Youth Advisory Board Member who would like to bring New Business to the Youth Advisory Board's attention will do so now. Note: Consideration of New Business shall be for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter is appropriate for inclusion on a future agenda of the Youth Advisory Board. E. Adjourn. Event Ideas Members continued fleshing out ideas for potential initiatives and events: 1. Thanksgiving Food Drive → “Spirit of Giving Drive” ● Have people drop off canned goods at Bellaire City Hall by December 6, 2024 ● Box containing food (created by Eleni) will be delivered to Houston Food Bank ● YAB members should try to outreach to their schools ○ Senate points, club advertising, etc ○ Social media ○ Posting on the City of Bellaire Website 2. Christmas Event ● 2nd food drive ● Secret Santa for underprivileged kids ● Making blankets while watching holiday movie ● Sponsor a family for Christmas D.
