A. Call to Order and Announcement of a Quorum - Eleni Gagliardi, Chair. B. Approval of Minutes: Consideration of and possible action on the approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) held on Monday, April 14, 2025 - Submitted by Bella Kalra, Secretary. YAB 4-14-25 Minutes C. Public Comment. Note: Public Comments are limited to up to five (5) minutes per person. D. Report from Council Liaisons - Winfred C. Frazier, Mayor Pro Tem, and Jackie Georgiou, Council Member. E. Report from Staff Liaison - Sharon Citino, City Manager. F. Board Business. 1. Continued discussion and possible action regarding a YAB partnership with the PATRONS for Bellaire Parks on a Party at the Pavilion event(s) and teen dive-in movie - Board Members. 2. Update and discussion regarding the YAB Pickleball Tournament held on April 19, 2025, at the Bellaire Recreation Center - Emma Zadok, Vice Chair; Bella Kalra, Secretary; Luke Loving, Athletics Chair; Evelyn Yip, Outreach/Social Media Chair; and Ben Shoss, Board Member. 3. Update and discussion regarding the YAB's participation in the Environmental Sustainability Board's Food Waste Program, which ended on April 20, 2025 - Bella Kalra, Secretary. 4. Discussion and possible action on selling merchandise, including the selection by the YAB Board of a favorite design for shirts to be presented by Eleni Gagliardi, Chair; Emma Zadok, Vice Chair; Luke Loving, Athletics Chair; and Evelyn Yip, Outreach/Social Media Chair. 5. Consideration of and possible action on rescheduling or canceling the YAB May 26, 2025, Regular Meeting, due to the Memorial Day Holiday - Board Members. G. New Business: Any YAB Member who wishes to bring New Business to the attention of the YAB shall do so now. Note: Consideration of New Business shall be for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter is appropriate for inclusion on a future Agenda of the YAB or for referral to staff for investigation. People can pay with cash at the door 4. Everyone show up at 2:30, can go home later if not needed a. Need to bring snacks and set up 5. Ethan will bring a cooler 6. Band unable to be there, but wants to be included for future opportunities C. Culture and Arts Festival 1. Need volunteers for Culture and Arts Board 2. Ethan will volunteer D. Music as Medicine Collaboration 1. Because of late timing, will do this next year E. Merch 1. Evelyn, Luke, Eleni, Ethan and Emma will make shirt designs a. YAB will vote on favorite design next meeting F. New Business 1. Emma attended West U international festival 2. Next year YAB can facilitate our own I-Fest across Bellaire J.
