Spring Street – gutter replacement w/ copper. Administrative Approval: ➢ 134 Bishop Street (Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church) – downspouts (3) replacement, in kind. ➢ 120 E. High Street (Bellefonte Elks Lodge) –metal roof replacement on back addition Information/Discussion Items: Old Business: ➢ Council voted to approve a Letter of Support from the Borough of Bellefonte to support BelleBelle Properties, LLC and their appeal to the Department of Labor and Industry. That letter is attached for your reference. New Business: ➢ Bellefonte Historic Ordinance Review – I’m sending along three items: o Bellefonte Historic District Ordinance o Bellefonte Historic District: A Guide for Property Owners ▪ not currently on our website, but should we consider having it on there? o Other HARBs as Reference (zip file) – as examples ▪ If you have a chance, browse through some of the other HARB ordinances and applications in this file. Many of these are boroughs similar in size to our own. We may want to consider using some of the language presented in these ordinances in our own updates. I think the website could use some work and re-organizing. With Ralph’s permission, I would like to have editing permission to do work on the HARB webpage when time allows. There is some redundancy of information and also some that is incorrect/missing. I think our application materials could be updated as well.
