I. 7:30 PM COUNCIL MEETING – CALL TO ORDER
Welcome everyone to the Bellefonte Borough council meeting. We will do our best to start council meetings on
time and to end them on time. Due tothe room acoustics, please speak up when talking so that people can hear
what you are saying. All comments and reports should be kept to three minutes maximum. Thank you.

In accordance with Act 65 of 2021, If a matter is not on the Agenda, Council cannot take official action on it with
some exceptions. Council can act on matters relating to potential or real emergencies. Council may add a matter
of agency business to its agenda through majority vote. Council should state the reason why the action item is
being added to the Agenda. Council may vote to add an action item(s) to the agenda.

VI. COMMUNICATIONS (written)
Awaken the Dawn Banner Request. The event is scheduled for July 22-23, 2022 in Talleyrand Park. Call for a motion/
2nd to approve the request to hang the banner on the high Street bridge July 19-July 23.
BASD Cross Country Team request to use Governor’s Park. Call for a motion/ 2nd to approve the BASD Cross
Country’s use of Governors Park for their upcoming 2022 Meets and practice schedule from August through
November 2022.
Saint John Catholic School outdoor Mass and Blessing of the Backpacks Sunday, August 28, 2022. Call for a motion/
2nd to approve Saint John Catholic Schools request to use Pavilion #12 for Blessing of the Backpacks and Outdoor
Mass on Sunday, August 28, 2022.
Saint John Catholic School Race for Education Thursday, October 27, 2022. Call for a motion/ 2nd to approve Saint
John Catholic Schools request to use Governor’s Park Pavilions and walking path for their Race for Education event
on Thursday, October 27, 2022.
Victorian Christmas Friday December 9th- Sunday December 11th and Decorating Day November 19, 2022. Call for a
motion/ 2nd to approve the dates of Friday, December 9-December 11th for Bellefonte Victorian Christmas.
Call for a motion/ 2nd to approve providing staff to help with Decorating on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Coalition Against Bigger Trucks. Consider Letter Opposing Bigger Trucks. Call for a motion/2nd to approve sending

Shade Tree removal request. Call for a motion/ 2nd to approve the request to remove the Shade Trees to the Shade Tree
Commission.
Feral Cat Issues, Crawford Lane area. Council is asked to review current ordinances and consider amendments if
necessary. Consider a motion to add this item to the goals/issues list or schedule the topic for an upcoming work
session.
Consider Items from the Goals/Issues list to be scheduled for the 08.01.2022 Council Work Session. Plans are to have an
economic-focused work session in August prior to the annual budget work starting in September.
Call for a motion and second of goals to consider for 08.01.2022 Work Session.
