IV. ADDITIONS TO THE COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA
Under Act 65 of 2021, If a matter is not on the Agenda, Council may not take official action on it with the
following exceptions. Council can act on matters relating to potential or real emergencies. Council may add a
matter of agency business to its agenda through a majority vote. The council must state why the action item is
being added to the Agenda. Council may vote to add an action item(s) to the agenda.
V. PUBLIC COMMENT
This Public Comment period is for oral comments regarding any action items listed on this meeting agenda or
any comments in general. No deliberations will be entered into by Council at this time. Please sign in, come
to the podium at the appropriate time, and state your name along with your address and which item you are
speaking about. Please try to limit comments to three minutes maximum.
VI. COMMUNICATIONS (written)
Clearwater Conservancy 28th Annual Watershed Cleanup Day April 20, 2024. FYI, no Council action needed.
Centre County Government interest in using North Penn Street (between High and Pike Lane) to join adjacent parking
lots. A previous council conveyed to the County that it was open to abandoning this section of North Penn Street. The
County is checking with the current council to see if this offer is still available. Motion/2nd to convey to Centre County
Government that the Borough is open to abandoning the above-mentioned section of North Penn Street for the County to
connect off-street parking lots adjacent to this street. Council may take action.
