Discussion City of Bellevue Page 1 Printed on 1/22/2015 City Council Extended Study Meeting Agenda January 26, 2015 Session a) 15-131 The application of Puget Sound Energy (PSE) to construct a new 115 kV overhead transmission line connecting the existing Lake Hills Substation with the Phantom Lake Substation (Council action on this quasi-judicial item is scheduled for February 2, 2015. This discussion provides opportunity to raise questions prior to scheduled action. Staff provided the full Hearing Examiner recommendation to Council under separate cover. This is a Process III application. Under Process III, the Hearing Examiner makes a recommendation to the City Council, which is the decision-making body. Should Council deny the application, the decision is appealable to Superior Court. The Hearing Examiner recommends Council approval, with conditions. This site is located within the jurisdiction of the East Bellevue Community Council who will have final review after City Council action.) City Council meetings are wheelchair accessible.
