Note: The time allowed shall not exceed 30 minutes, and speakers will be called in order from
the sign-up sheet. If the number of speakers signed up to speak will exceed the 30-minute
period, the Chair is authorized to give preference to (1) persons speaking to items on that
meeting's Agenda or anticipated to come on the Agenda within one month and/or (2) to
persons who have not spoken to Council in the last quarter. A maximum of three persons are
permitted to speak to each side of any one topic.

a) 17-391 Council Business and New Initiatives
b) 17-392 General update and discussion on homelessness on the Eastside and Bellevue’s
response to homelessness.
(Information only. Staff will be providing an update and framework for future
discussions related to homelessness.)
c) 17-393 Briefing on property tax impacts as a result of state legislation passed in 2017 by King
County Assessor John Arthur Wilson, and Bellevue School District Deputy
Superintendent Melissa DeVita.
(Information only. Council will have the opportunity to ask questions and
provide feedback to the King County Assessor and BSD Deputy
Superintendent.)
d) 17-394 April - September 2017, Update on Economic Development Activities
(For information. Staff will provide an update on OED's activities during the
third quarter of 2017.)
