Note: The time allowed shall not exceed 30 minutes, and speakers will be called in order from
the sign-up sheet. If the number of speakers signed up to speak will exceed the 30-minute
period, the Chair is authorized to give preference to (1) persons speaking to items on that
meeting's Agenda or anticipated to come on the Agenda within one month and/or (2) to
persons who have not spoken to Council in the last quarter. A maximum of three persons are
permitted to speak to each side of any one topic.

a) 19-333 Council Business and New Initiatives
b) 19-334 Briefing on the King County Medic One/Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Levy
(For direction. King County staff will present an overview of the proposed
Medic One/Emergency Medical Services levy. Staff seek Council direction to
place the measure on the November ballot.)
c) 19-335 Regional Issues
(Written Update. No presentation.)
d) 19-336 East Main Transit-Oriented Development Supplemental Guiding Principles for the
East Main Land Use Code Amendment Process
(For action. Staff seek Council action on the proposed Supplemental Guiding
Principles for the East Main Land Use Code Amendment process.)
e) RES 9599 Resolution authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute all documents
necessary for the City to exercise its right of first refusal to purchase an affordable
housing unit (unit 3, building 3-2) at Lakemont Ridge for an amount not to exceed
$365,000 plus applicable closing costs using City Housing Funds.
