Call to order and roll call Council President Stone called the meeting to order at 10 a.m. Present: Committee Chair Lisa Anderson, Fifth Ward Committee Member Daniel Hammill, Third Ward Committee Member Edwin H. An ordinance amending the 2026 adopted budget, reconciling the differences between estimated 2026 beginning reserve balances and actual 2026 reserve balances and applying the differences to the ending reserve balances Summary: Andy Asbjornsen, Finance Director, and Eric Johnson, Budget and Treasury Manager, presented the ordinance, which reconciles the differences between estimated 2026 beginning reserve balances and actual 2026 reserve balances. Council Members discussed the ordinance and asked questions. Action: Daniel Hammill moved to approve the three budget related ordinances (AB 24900, AB 24901, AB 24902). MOTION CARRIED 3-0. 24901 2. Council Members discussed the ordinance and asked questions. Council approved the ordinance via one motion (See AB 24900). 24902 3. An ordinance amending the 2026 budget - amendment no. 1 Summary: Andy Asbjornsen, Finance Director, Forrest Longman, Deputy Administrator, and Eric Johnson, Budget and Treasury Manager, presented the ordinance, which amends the 2026 budget by correcting budgetary errors, adjusting appropriation authority to provide positive estimated ending reserve balances for all City funds, and adding budget authority for items missed during budget development or after adoption of the 2026 budget. Council Members discussed the ordinance and asked questions. Council approved the ordinance via one motion (See AB 24900).
