Functions and Obligations of Transportation Benefit District No. 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BELLINGHAM, WASHINGTON, SETTING
THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE BELLINGHAM
CITY COUNCIL’S INTENT TO ASSUME THE RIGHTS, POWERS,
FUNCTIONS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE BELLINGHAM
TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT KNOWN AS TBD NO. 1, AS OF
JANUARY 1, 2016, AS ALLOWED BY SECOND ENGROSSED SUBSTITUTE
SENATE BILL 5987, SECTION 302 (July 15, 2015).
Roxanne Murphy/Dan Hammill moved to recommend approval of resolution
MOTION CARRIED 6-0.

21019 3. Work Session on the 2016 Supplemental Budget Modifications
A Worksession was held in the Mayor's Board Room and adjourned at 4:25 PM. Many
points were brought up for discussion, highlighting changes by department and fund.
Department heads explained their needs.

4. Approval of City Council Committee and/or Special Meeting Minutes
Roxanne Murphy/Terry Bornemann moved approval of the October 12th minutes as
submitted.
MOTION CARRIED 6-0.
5. Old/New Business
Pinky brought the proposed 2016 Council calendar forward and said that a resolution
will be created and included in November 9th agenda.
