Gene Knutson / Michael Lilliquist moved approval of the May 16th minutes as
submitted.
MOTION CARRIED 6-0.
8. Old/New Business
Terry Bornemann - The Downtown Bellingham Partnership sponsored a contest to
design a Bellingham Flag. The winner was Bradley Lockhart. Terry suggested that he
come give a presentation to Council about his flag.
Pinky Vargas - The County discussed a resolution that will be coming back for a vote
regarding implementation of a jail oversight board.
Mayor Kelli Linville - The Cascadia Rising drill will be taking place June 7-8 involving over
400 volunteers simulating a 9.0 quake.
