Call to Order Roll Call Present: Committee Chair Michael Lilliquist, Sixth Ward Committee Member April Barker, First Ward Committee Member Dan Hammill, Third Ward Council Standing Committee Meetings Open to the public to attend. Note: there is generally no public comment period for Committee sessions. Standing Committee Members receive reports and information, ask questions and, when appropriate, vote on a recommended action for consideration by the full Council at the Regular Meeting. The notice of Committee Meetings identified below also serves as notice of Special Meetings of the City Council at the times identified as Council Members who are not members of the committee routinely attend and participate in the Committee Meetings. Committee Chairs give a report of the Committee Meeting at the Regular Meeting in the evening prior to deliberation and formal vote in the order shown below: Planning and Community Development Michael Lilliquist, Chair April Barker; Daniel Hammill 22009 1. Review of an Interlocal Agreement with Whatcom County for the p. 3 Bennett / Bakerview / Airport Drive Annexation Area Moshe Quinn, Planner, introduced the item and noted that this is the second to the last step of the annexation phase of this project.The contract is to reimburse the County for the overpass at the intersection. A public hearing is required and will take place at a later meeting in the next month or two. April Barker moved to recommend approval of the contract. MOTION CARRIED 3-0.
