Call to Order
The Tourism Commission meeting was called to order by the Chair at 3:30 PM.
1. Introductions
Present: Peter Frazier (Chair), Christine Jenkins, Craig Jewell, Kevin Coleman, Marc Blake, Matt Lesinski,
Nicky Kelly, Sara Holliday, Todd Elsworth, Hollie Huthman (Council Representative), Patricia Leach (ex-
officio)
Absent: Kelly Hart, Stephanie Morrell and Dylan Deane-Boyle (ex-officio),
City Staff/Other Panelists: Tara Sundin and Fiona Starr, PCDD; John Purdie, Mount Baker Theatre; Tatiana
Beiting, Museum; Lindsey Gerhard, BWCT
2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting
The minutes from November 28, 2023 were approved.

1. Final Report from the Northwest Tune-Up p. 2
Eric Brown and Brandon Watts gave an overview of the 2023 NW Tune-up and highlighted plans
for the 2024 event.
2. Traffic Box and Banner Project Updates. p. 4
Traffic Box update will be provided at the February meeting.
3. 2024 Grant Updates p. 5
Lindsey Gerhard gave a status on the grantee meetings to date. She said there is a planned
networking event for the recipients and hoteliers in February at the Hotel Leo.
