MEETING NOTICE

7:00pm.
The meeting will be held at City Hall in the Council Chambers
located at 191 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA.

11/8/2021 and 11/15/2021
NEW PUBLIC HEARINGS
Michael Henry
requests a Variance to raze existing detached one car garage and erect a 20’x24’ two car garage
with an 8’x10’ breezeway attached to existing one family building. The property is located at 27
Woodbury Street in the R10 zoning district.
Barry Frost
requests a Variance to construct a 20' x 20' garage with a left side setback of 10.1' where 15' is
required and a rear setback of 5.1' where 25' is required." He needs to fill out the paperwork for a
variance, not a special permit. The property is located at 34 Walcott Road in the R10 zoning
district.
Brian and Devon Carrarini
requests a Special Permit to construct a 6 foot extension of the pre-existing nonconforming front
setback and a vertical extension of pre-existing nonconforming front and side setbacks for a
second story addition. The property is located at 74 Bisson Street in the R10 zoning district.
Alexander & Femino o/b/o MPM Companies LLC
request a Variance to allow a house to be built on the lot which would be 14.5 feet from one side
lot line and 10.5 feet from the other lot line where the Zoning Ordinance provides for 15 feet.
Building a house on this lot without the requested relief would result in a house that is too
narrow to be marketable, unattractive and not in keeping with the appearance of most houses in
the neighborhood. The property is located at 9 Porter Terrace in the R10 zoning district.
Alexander & Femino o/b/o Stephanie Sironi and David Beaulieu
request a Special Permit/Finding to add an addition to the existing house, which is legally
nonconforming as to one side yard and the front yard setback. The proposed addition conforms
with all zoning setbacks for this district. When completed the house will accommodate two
families which is a by right use in this district. The property is located at 68 Bridge Street in the
R6 zoning district.
Steven Blais and Lisa Hagen
request a Variance to construct a 24’x30’ bay garage with a right setback of 5’ where 15 is
required and a rear setback of 5’ where 15’ is required. The height of the proposed garage will
be approximately 18.6’ from grade where 15’ is required. The property is located at 178 Dodge
Street in the R10 zoning district.
CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING
Alexander & Femino o/b/o Todisco Properties LLC
requests a Variance to allow the division of the existing 17,006 sq ft lot into 2 lots each having
75 feet of frontage and one having 8,505 sq ft of area and the other having 8,501, where 100 feet
of frontage is required and 10,000 feet of area. The proposed house on the new lot would comply
with all zoning setbacks. The property is located at 5 Roosevelt Avenue in the R-10 zoning
district.
