In compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act, NJSA 10:4-6, this is to
announce that Adequate Notice of this meeting was provided in the following
manner: On January 12, 2014 advance written notice of this meeting was
posted on the Official Bulletin Board in the City Hall, was emailed to THE
BURLINGTON COUNTY TIMES for publication and emailed to the CAMDEN COURIER
POST for advise, was filed with the Municipal Clerk, and was mailed to all
persons who requested and paid for such notice. The proceedings of all
meetings are electronically and manually recorded, and Minutes will be on
file in the office of the Municipal Clerk.

Division of Local Government Services approval for the hiring of
Regular Police Officer Kenyatta Kelly, in conjunction with
Resolution 2014-130, approved by Council at their August 26, 2014
meeting.

ORDINANCES
ORDINANCE 2014-10 – INTRODUCTION/FIRST READING
AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH CERTAIN STANDARDS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR
LANDLORDS. This Ordinance will come before Council for Second
Reading/Public Hearing/Adoption at their October 14, 2014 meeting to
be held at 7PM at Beverly City Hall, 446 Broad Street, Beverly, NJ
08010. Copies of said Ordinance are available for review at the Office
of the Municipal Clerk, at the aforementioned address, during normal
business hours, M-F, 9AM-5PM.

RESOLUTION 2014-137
A Resolution authorizing refund of subsequent tax payments paid by
Lien Holder relative to Block 951/Lot 9.
Resolution 2014-138
A Resolution authorizing the cancelation of property taxes on Block
1273/Lot 9, property qualifying for a Veteran’s Property Tax
Exemption.

RESOLUTION 2014-139
A Resolution authorizing the cancelation of property taxes on Block
1590/Lot 5, property qualifying for a Veteran’s Property Tax
Exemption.
RESOLUTION 2014-140
A Resolution approving the 2013 Corrective Action Plan for the City of
Beverly relative to the City’s 2013 Audit Report as submitted by the
City’s Auditors, the firm of Inverso & Stewart.
RESOLUTION 2014-142
A Resolution determining the City of Beverly to be an “Area in Need of
Rehabilitation”, as set forth in N.J.S. 40A: 12A-14, and upon
recommendation from Beverly City Planner, Barbara Fegley, AICP, PP,
Environmental Resolutions, and referring same to the Beverly City
Joint Land Use Board for its examination and recommendations back to
the Common Council of the City of Beverly.
