VILLAGE OF BIRON 451 KAHOUN ROAD, WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI 54494 PUBLIC PROPERTY, SAFETY & RECREATIONAL COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES August 19th, 2025 8:45 A.M. Members Present: Mike Guillemot, Chairperson; Jamie Biegel and Dan Muleski, Committee Members Others Present: Kayla Lumaye, Public Works Director; Peggy Doughty, Utility Clerk 1. Chairperson Mike Guillemot called the meeting to order at 8:42 a.m. 2. Discussion on 2026 Budgets – The committee reviewed and discussed the 2026 budgets. Changes were made to reflect increases for next year. Motion Muleski, second Guillemot to approve the 2026 budgets and to submit them into the general fund budget. Motion carried. 3. Discussion on Master Gardner’s update for Sunset Park plan – Dan asked for the contact information of the person for the master gardener’s so he could call and set up an appointment to meet and discuss the next steps. Jamie provided the contact information. More information to come at a later date. 4. Discussion on conference room updates – Peggy discussed her concerns with having trustees with their back to the audience. Peggy suggested that tables be purchased to form a U-shape so all trustees face the public. The committee suggested arranging tables into a T or Y shape. The committee suggested that more research be done, and this be discussed more at the next meeting. 5. Superintendent’s Report – Kayla stated Econ was the only company that has sent over a proposal for the generator. The other companies she reached out to have not yet sent over their proposals. The committee suggested some other companies to reach out to. 6. Set next meeting date and time – Next meeting will be held on September 30th at 10:15 AM.
