Minutes Town of Vermont Board Meeting September 30, 2024 Vermont Town Hall 4017 County Rd JJ, Black Earth WI 53515 5:30 P.M. Join by phone (US) +1 650-667-2539 PIN: 347 962 364# In attendance: Karen Carlock , Nick Balster, Kirk Lynch 1. Call to Order and certification of notice posting Karen called the meeting to order at 5:37 pm. Katie certified that the meeting was posted according to statute on the door of town hall and the town website at least 24 hours in advance. 2. Approval of agenda Kirk made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried 3-0 3. Consideration and possible resolution to participate in the Traditional HMO-Standard PPO w/Dental, P02 for benefits eligible employees (1) Karen made a motion to make a resolution to participate in the Traditional HMO-Standard PPO w/Dental, P02 for benefits eligible employees. Motion seconded. The current dental insurance provider, American Dental, notified the town a week previously that they would cease operations on December 31 of this year. In order to meet the deadline to make changes prior to open enrollment, the town needed to consider this before the October meeting. Motion carried 3-0. 4. Adjournment Kirk made a motion to adjourn. Motion passed 3-0 and the meeting was adjourned a 5:39
