The Historic Preservation Commission met at City Hall on September 11, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. Commissioners Jacob Peloquin, Darren Durman, Joe Gaier, and Barb Simonis were present. Commissioners Jim Hoffman and Dana Olson were absent. Commissioner Mary Woods was excused. Others in attendance: Vincent Meyer and Brad Chown, City Administrator. 1. The meeting was called to order by the City Administrator at 6:00 pm. 2. The Commissioners reviewed the newly formed Façade Improvement Grant Program and the application from Vincent Meyer for 44 Main Street. Commissioners agreed the requirement to commence work within 60 days of award should be removed. The requirement to complete the project within 12 months of an award was also questioned. If a project extends beyond 12 months, then the Commissioners felt applicants could request an extension and any extension would be at the discretion of the Commission. 3.
