Plan Commission Meeting

The Plan Commission met at City Hall in the City of Black River Falls on July 24, 2024 at 5:30 P.M. Mayor Jay Eddy, Commissioners Jared Smith, Dennis Guenther, Mike Rave, Anneliese Eddy, Joel Busse, and Randy Eddy were present. Mayor Jay Eddy presided. 1. Mayor Jay Eddy called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. 2. The Commission reviewed the proposed Certified Survey Map (CSM) submitted by Ethan Remus on behalf of Kaylan Rich for land on Alder Street. 3. It was moved by Commissioner J. Smith, seconded by Commissioner M. Rave to recommend the Common Council approve the Certified Survey Map submitted by Ethan Remus on behalf of Kaylan Rich for land on Alder Street. Motion carried. 4. The Commission reviewed the proposed Certified Survey Map (CSM) submitted by Ethan Remus on behalf of Al Lahmayer for land on Van Buren Street and Rye Bluff Road. 5. It was moved by Commissioner R. Eddy, seconded by Commissioner J. Busse to recommend the Common Council approve the Certified Survey Map submitted by Ethan Remus on behalf of Al Lahmayer for land on Van Buren Street and Rye Bluff Road. Motion carried. 6. Jon Bingol and Simon Fichter from Mississippi River Regional Planning Commission presented and discussed the 32-page existing conditions report for the Comprehensive Plan update. 7. The Commission reviewed and discussed the proposed survey questions for the Comprehensive Plan update and made some minor changes. 8. The Commission reviewed and discussed the scheduling and logistics for the Comprehensive Plan update. 9. It was moved by Commissioner J. Smith, seconded by Commissioner D. Guenther to adjourn.
