Blaine City Hall City of Blaine 10801 Town Sq Dr NE Blaine MN 55449 Anoka County, Minnesota Minutes City Council Workshop Monday, February 11, 2019 5:30 PM Cty Manager's Conference Room Board and Commission Interviews NOTICE OF WORKSHOP MEETING The meeting was called to order by Mayor Ryan at 5:30 p.m. Present: 3 - Mayor Ryan, Councilmember Robertson, and Councilmember Paul Absent: 4 - Councilmember Garvais, Councilmember Jeppson, Councilmember Swanson, and Councilmember Hovland ALSO PRESENT: Cathy Sorensen, City Clerk. 1 Council will be interviewing candidates for various boards and commissions. Council interviewed and reviewed a total of 20 candidates over two evenings for vacancies on the Planning Commission, Park Advisory Board, Natural Resources Conservation Board, Traffic Commission and SBM Fire Board. The Mayor’s appointments will be announced at the March 7, 2019, City Council meeting and confirmed at the March 21, 2019, City Council meeting. Discussed.
