10801 Town Square Dr. City of Blaine Blaine MN 55449 Anoka County, Minnesota Minutes - Final EDA The purpose of the Blaine Economic Development Authority is to increase the City’s commercial/industrial tax base, provide employment opportunities, undertake redevelopment to enhance and maintain neighborhood economic stability, and address special needs, such as senior housing. As authorized under Minnesota State statutes, the Blaine City Council also serves as the Blaine Economic Development Authority. Thursday, August 21, 2014 Council Chambers Closed Session Immediately following the Regular Council meeting, the EDA will hold a Closed Meeting Pursuant to MN Statute 13D.05, Subd. 3.(c)(3) 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Mayor Ryan at 8:10 p.m. 2. Roll Call Quorum Present. ALSO PRESENT: Clark Arneson, City Manager, Patrick Sweeney, City Attorney; Joe Huss, Finance Director; Terry Dussault, Human Resources Director. Present: 7 - Comissioner Bourke, Comissioner Clark, Comissioner Herbst, Comissioner Hovland, Comissioner Kolb, President Ryan, and Comissioner Swanson 3. New Business City of Blaine Page 1 EDA Minutes - Final August 21, 2014 To Consider Offer(s) or Counteroffer(s) for the Sale of Real Property of the Following Parcel(s): 29-31-23-33-0008 31-31-23-43-0047 31-31-23-43-0048 In accordance with the provisions of Minn. Stat. 13D.05, subd. 3(c)(3) the Council/EDA met in closed session to discuss the Purchase or Sale of Real or Personal Property for the following parcels: 29-31-23-33-0008 31-31-23-43-0047 31-31-23-43-0048 4.
