EDA
The purpose of the Blaine Economic Development Authority
is to increase the City’s commercial/industrial tax base,
provide employment opportunities, undertake redevelopment
to enhance and maintain neighborhood economic stability,
and address special needs, such as senior housing. As
authorized under Minnesota State statutes, the Blaine City
Council also serves as the Blaine Economic Development
Authority.

Immediately following the Regular Council meeting, the EDA will hold a Closed Meeting
Pursuant to MN Statute 13D.05, Subd. 3.(c)(3)

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Ryan at 8:10 p.m.

Quorum Present.
ALSO PRESENT: Clark Arneson, City Manager, Patrick Sweeney, City
Attorney; Joe Huss, Finance Director; Terry Dussault, Human Resources
Director.
