Meeting called to order: 1:06 p.m. Councilmembers present: Kate Rosenbarger, Hopi Stosberg Councilmembers via Zoom: None Councilmembers absent: Isak Nti Asare City staff, officials, and guests present: Deputy Clerk Jennifer Crossley Topics Discussed: As duly authorized, I hereby certify that a committee of the Bloomington Common Council to review and recommend applicants for appointments to the Board or Commission specified below met on the date noted to: ✓ review applications and select candidates for interviews or ✓ interview candidates or ✓ to make recommendations for appointment to the Common Council Board or Commission: Animal Control Commission, Commission of Aging, Bloomington Urban Enterprise Association, Commission Status of Black Males, Human Rights Commission, Housing Quality Appeals Board MOTION: Stosberg moved and it was seconded by Rosenbarger to appoint Diana Opata to seat C-1 to the Commission on the Status of Black Males. ACTION: The motion received a roll call vote of Ayes: 2, Nays: 0, Abstain: 0. MOTION: Stosberg moved and it was seconded by Rosenbarger to interview Dhakir Abdullah and Siddhu McLeod for the Commission on the Status of Black Males.
