EXECUTIVE SESSION MEMORANDUM Bloomington Common Council – Mayoral/Common Council Executive Session Bloomington City Hall, Allison Conference Room, 401 N. Morton Street, Bloomington, Indiana Wednesday, August 14, 2024 Meeting Called to Order: 8:45pm Committee Members present: Isak Nti Asare, Courtney Daily, Matt Flaherty, Isabel Piedmont-Smith, Dave Rollo, Kate Rosenbarger, Andy Ruff, Hopi Stosberg, Sydney Zulich City staff, officials, and guests present: Steve Unger (via Zoom), Andrew McNeil (via Zoom), Larry Allen, Margie Rice, Ash Kulak, Margaret VanSchaik, Mayor Kerry Thomson, Clerk Nicole Bolden An Executive Session of the City of Bloomington Common Council was held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 8:45pm to 9:45pm in the Allison Conference Room of the Showers City Hall located at 401 North Morton Street. The purpose of the Executive Session, as authorized by IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(2)(B), was to discuss the initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in writing. As used in this clause, "litigation" includes any judicial action or administrative law proceeding under federal or state law. I hereby certify on behalf of the Common Council that no decisions were made or subject matter discussed in the Executive Session other than the subject matter specified herein and in the posted notice of the actual session.
